AAS Award winner! The fire-engine-red blooms begin in late spring and continue into the fall. Summer Jewel Red is a dwarf annual sage with super-abundant ½-inch blooms of brilliant red. These flowers crowd along slender but sturdy stems among dark emerald-green foliage. The plant is 20 inches high in bloom and not more than 16 inches wide. Well-suited for cut flower arrangements. Medicinal Uses: Salvia acts as a natural disinfectant and deodorizer, eliminating body odor and drying perspiration.
