Wendy’s Wish
‘Wendy’s Wish’ is a beautiful evergreen shrub with compact growth to about 3 to 4 feet tall by 3 feet wide with dark green colored leaves that have serrated margins along dark maroon stems. Rising above the foliage from spring through fall are the unique tubular flowers with fluted tips. Upright clumps are in full glorious display from May to October, oblivious of heat and drought. Provide well-drained soil and full sun. A nice plant for a container or in border plantings. Well-suited for cut flower arrangements. Medicinal Uses: Salvia acts as a natural disinfectant and deodorizer, eliminating body odor and drying perspiration.
